I have never logged into the server before.
While scrolling through the server list, I came upon it, and decided to see what it was.
Upon trying to join, I was told I was forever banned from the server.
This must be some kind of mistake.

Well Nevoh has not been banned , but if you are showing up as banned then it is because your CD key and IP are banned . So you either used another Log in or Someone else used your computer to get banned.

Or someone got banned on the same CD key.

IP addresses aren't always static things, though. It's very possible that a couple peoples' ISPs (likely the same ISP, in fact) have multiple clients on dynamic IP addresses, which could very well give someone the same IP as someone who's been banned. If that's the case, you can probably rebot or poke your router to get that moved over.

Unless it was your CD key, in which case I say either "nice try" or "don't give your CD key to people," depending on what happened.
