So, a simple idea: how would we feel about a system by which skilled crafters could teach less-experienced crafters the trade. I think that, if it was suitably expensive and we slapped some requirements on it, it could add some good stuff to the module.

So, I'm thinking a widget that would be used on the trainee (maybe sell it in the crafting supplies merchant for 1k?) and then charge the teacher one fourth the trainee's skill in tenths of a percent squared in gold (i.e. (nSkill * nSkill)/4 ...

I would like to see a "Craft hall" in Thel. A place where Every one may craft. Where every thing you need, Equipment and supplies. I like the crafting system. But it can seem overwhelming to know you have to train subskills just to get what you need to learn what your interested in. I like the modest skill and level progression. I do fell however the skill system would feel more accessible and less tedious if things where centrally located. It would also make it easier to meet up and ...

So, separating seeds from cotton is brutally time consuming in its current state. It's 6 seconds /head, which translates to 2.8 spools of thread per head (10.7 seconds for enough cotton to make a bolt of cloth under ideal conditions, though conditions will never be ideal, as the crafting system makes extensive use of the Random() function, which is bugged in very documented ways, described here: http://www.nwnlexicon.com/compiled/function.random.html) I think that, when compared to other crafts ...

I am happy to have found this server. I have always been drawn to the romance of the knight. I used to play 1st edition PnP. I played many Palidens. I haven't played one in NWN. I think I will soon. And Jousting. How cool is that. I like the all around tourney. With Lance, Blade and Bow. You forgot one important Knightly art. Full contact wenching. But then I don't suppose there is still room to build an ale house at the tourney grounds. Shame that.

Something that I've noticed about this server is that the single biggest problem a PC is faced with is managing the inventory. Much of the PC economy centers on craftable items, which require tools (2 tools if one wants to feasibly build the skill up, as tools break) and most spawns drop a diversity of (large and heavy) items.

I'm not sure how much of a problem the weight of these items is, as the module is clearly built to favor martial classes and the average one of those is going to have ...

I know how new the forums/msg board is but I was wondering if the individual's Avatar pics will be available and what the size restrictions is at that point it is.
I also have seen where CHAR STATs and Crafting STATs are linked from the game server to the forums/msg board. I wonder if that might be addressed and discussed if that is something we wish to pursue here.
