Leon is a fairly young man who has been an orphan since he was a young child. He was found by one of the priests on his way into town on a rainy night; leon was lieing unconcious next to a slain knight. The knight's tabbard has been runed by whatever killed the knight and the letter he had been carried was stained by the mud and blood. The priest took the young leon back to the chapel to recieve care. Having no identification the monks named him Leon and raised him in the chapel. Leon was a curious child so it wasn't unsuprising when he became infatuated with the idea of knighthood, thus starting him on his personal mission to become a knight one way or another. However as fate would have it knights weren't the only thing that fascinated Leon, the witches and other such that the churchmen prosecuted during his childhood captivated Leon who would steal peeks into the tomes and things of the guilty parties. Eventaully Leon had picked up enough that he was able-to some extent- to manipulate magic himself; a skill he kept hidden from the chapel's residents. At a young age Leon left the chapel to begin to make his way twoards becoming a knight.
